Has anyone heard of a place in Atlanta that will remove you skin for free and use the skin for burn victims. If so please post the info. I was told there was one but they dont know any details.

I have always heard this as to be a RUMOR, they say our skin is damaged skin and of no use to burn victoms.

You can donate your skin to help others, but you cannot be paid for it or receive anything of value for it.

Its like organ donation...you do it for the good of others.

I looked into this too out of "omg how am I ever going to pay for this" desperation. Also contacted Oprah, Dr Phil.

But as the original poster and doctor said, you CAN donate it, but most of the skin is damaged and doesn't have any value to it.

So no free tummy tucks.
