Smart Lipo

Smart Lipo

Postby nudefirefighter » Wed Nov 07, 2007 6:22 pm

47 year old military man here. At that age in life where the tummy is sagging. I'm in good shape and within (barely) physical standards for the job. Looking into smart lipo to help get the stomach and love handles looking better. I'm 6', 225#, football player build .. but need to loose the tummy. Smart Lipo appears to be the best way to go and not miss too much work. Anybody have any experience or suggestions?:

I'll be 40 this month and had lipo on my abs, flanks, chest, and axilla(underarms) back in August. I was uncomfortable for a few weeks, but not enough to prevent me from working. I did, however, take a week off.

I had regular tumescent lipo with local anesthesia and about 2000 CCs of fat removed. I don't know how smart lipo would compare, but I've seen enough to know that you should have the fat suctioned out along with it or you have a high risk of being unsatisfied with the results.

So far, I'm very happy with my results and it will only get better once the remaining swelling goes away. If you want to do it, I'd have to recommend going for it.

Hi nudefirefighter! I feel like I am on a mission at the moment but I think Smartlipo is the way to go if you want to lose your tummy but are worried about the recovery time. As you no doubt know this is a new procedure but Dr Malan in Scottsdale, AZ did my upper and lower abs three weeks ago and I have been thrilled with the results. I'm 38 and I used to have a c-section pouch which wouldn't budge no matter how much I worked out or dieted. After my procedure, I was up and around within a couple of days and my best buddy, who had traditional lipo, couldn't believe how fast I bounced back from this. Other advantages are you are awake throughout the procedure and despite a bit of leaking for a few days there is hardly any pain or recovery time. In my opinion this procedure makes regular lipo look Medieval
