Laser Genesis and Titan Laser

Postby star1978 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 5:37 pm

Intrested in the best laser for brown skin for both acne prevention and dark spots. I have had the Laser Genesis and I love it and help build collegan. But I was told that the Titan infraed with Genesis would give me optiumum results. I know infraed kills surface bacteria which is one of my main problems. Need you advice and saw your article on combination therapy. I have acne controlled and some blotchy skin but need to maintain this while getting better all the time.

I am a huge fan of combination therapy involving home skin care regimens, advanced spa treatments, and cosmetic laser therapy. The Laser Genesis/Titan combination is safe and effective for patients with skin of color. Nd-Yag lasers are typically the safest for darker pigmented skin. The titan is more useful for improving the elasticity of the skin, not necessarily for acne control. I think you will get the best "bang for the buck" with regards to your acne . . .with an effective exfoliating home skin care regimen. Microdermabrasion facials can also be helpful. To maintain your even complexion, I would strongly recommend a daily sun screen and topical antioxidant serums with Vitamin C.

Keep up the Good Work,
