Nasaloidal folds

Postby graig » Sat Nov 08, 2008 7:41 pm

Hi Dr. Harris,

I am a African American man in my early forties. The area I do not like is my prominent nasaloidial fold lines. I have a prominent malar fat pad that causes tiring lookng lines above it and below it (nose to mouth). This makes me look tired and depressed. I have many working years to go until retirement and cannot keep this image of me. I have seen the results of using fillers on the nose to mouth fold. My main focus is on the crease that travels from upper nose downward. What are my options?

Thank you,

Prominent nasolabial folds are quite common in men of African descent. Injectable fillers are your best option to soften the appearance of the "smile line" fold. Synthetic fillers are quite safe and produce great results. Take a look at my patient below.
