Plastic surgeons that truly listen and care (Rhinoplasty)

Dear make me heel plastic surgeons,

I had a rhinoplasty and a septoplasty about 9 months ago to correct an issue that happened when I use to play football. (Broken nose) Well after the surgery the right stitches underneath my nose came lose causing a small hypertrophic scar. Also it appears that my nose is slightly pulled to the left side and the left nostril is smaller. Another issue from the surgery occurred right where the hypertrophic scar ends closer to the tip of my nose; the skin is extremely hard and protrudes out slightly. The texture of the skin on the left side is fine. I told my doctor about all these issues and concerns about what happened but he told me you can’t really notice it. It’s like he wanted me out of there fast so he can see the other patients. He knew about the stitches and stuff but wouldn’t tell me anything until I asked him several months later. It’s like he doesn’t have time for me. So I went to see another plastic surgeon and I got the same results. He was so booked that he just talked to me for 5 min. and said he would think about doing it. It’s like they don’t even care about how you feel or what you are going through. They just want you in and out as fast as possible so they can see the next patient and do the same to them; but in the process not doing an in deep and thorough check of the patient. I need somebody to really look at me and tell me what happened and try to fix it. I have done so much reading about how long it can take for this to heel. From months to a couple of years but I’m telling who ever is listening there is something else going on and I don’t want to have to live like this when I know this can be easily corrected. If there is a doctor out there who cares about their patients enough to listen to them and examine what they are saying please write back. I would fly anywhere to get this taken care of. If a doctor needs me to fax my medical records of the procedures I would be more than happy to do so. I take pride in my work and I know there are other people in the world who do the same. Thank everybody for taking the time to listen to me. My email address is gavenv@hotmail.com

Kind regards,
Gaven Varner
