Primary Rhinoplasty & Cultura Services

Postby _simplicity » Wed Feb 25, 2009 1:49 pm

Hello Dr. Harris,

I have been looking into Cultura and your rhinoplasty expertise for the past 3 yrs. I must say that your results are some of the most natural that I've seen.

As such, if possible could you provide a price quote/estimate for rhinoplasty surgery?

While browsing around the site I noticed that Cultura offers Laser genesis. How many treatments would be needed and does it really help to reduce large pores? Is it expensive?

With laser hair removal how many weeks would be between each treatments? A while back I got a quote of $125 per treatment, is this still current?

Obagi

Also, do you recommend the Obagi Nuderm systerm for clients with uneven skin tones and/or dark marks? Isn't there a concern since some of the products contain hydroquinone

Hi Simplicity,

I appreciate your compliment regarding my rhinoplasty results. Please call my practice, manager Monica Gomez to discuss cost and fees regarding rhinoplasty surgery.

We can also direct you appropriately with regards to laser services for hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

As far as hydroquinone, it remains the gold standard for addressing hyperpigmentation and evening skin tone. When used appropriately under physician's guidance, hydroquinone is quite safe and effective.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Dr. Harris

Thank you for your reply Dr. Harris.

I will definitely give your practice a call. I live in NJ/NY but wouldn't mind traveling to utilize your practice's services as I think that the variety of services that Cultura offers are unmatched. Do you have any patients that travel from out of state for continued/on going services such as skin care treatments, etc?

Also, what is recommended for African American skin? TCA, Glycolic, or Lactic Acid peels? I've heard quite a few horror stories from AA's that have underwent TCA peels? Could chemical peels be used elsewhere on the body?

Thanks again.

Dear Simplicity,

Our largest number of out of town patients travel from the NJ/NYC area. Patients frequently have ongoing skin care services perfomed at the medical spa. I recently opened a boutique surgery practice just two blocks up from the spa for the patients undergoing plastic surgery procedures.

When you come for your appointment, we will be happy to analyze your skin and recommend an appropriate regimen. Peels can be somewhat unpredictable in the hands of providers without expertise with skin of color. Chemical peels can also be used on parts of the body outside of the face. . . .such as the back for improving discoloration related to acne scarring.

I hope this helps,

Dr. Harris
