Surgical excision on wrists...

Postby magicpoop » Fri Apr 05, 2013 3:35 am

Hi all,

I’m wanting to have some tattoos on my wrists removed. Now I’ve had a consultation with a dermatologist who performs laser removal, and I wasn’t really happy with the whole process. The pain, 10+ times for decent removal, the chance that it won’t completely remove the tattoo and many other problems. So I’m wanting to have the tattoos excised. I like idea of only having one or two procedures with complete removal, and the scarring problem does not bother me at all.

Now to my question. I’ve called around all the local plastic surgeons, and it appears that not everyone will perform the procedure. Which has me a little concerned to be honest. Does anyone know of any particular reasons why some Doctors won’t perform the procedure? Is it dangerous in anyway, or is it just the scarring that concerns them?

Take Care

Scarring on your wrists might make you look suicidal with slashed wrists. I would give the laser a try.

I am having the same problem,I have contacted over fifty different clinics worldwide, to my suprise no Doctors want to do this procedure and my Tattoos are located on my upper arm. I have found a clinic in india who is willing to do this procedure. I am now waiting on my visa appointment. Have you had your tattoo removed as yet? if so can you forward the Dr address. I wish all the best removing your tattoo
