I spent 4000 on IPL, whats 400? Then I can do as many treatments as I need! I can also use it on my daughter for her acne. That thread about it will take you hours to read! I am seriously thinking of buying one on ebay for 400(its the cost of one botox shot!), they normally retail at 800. Lookinup if you research please let us know what you think I am just worried that like thermage you could end up with dents or fat loss in your face. I had a lot of plastic surgery and I just want to try to keep my face looking decent, for as long as possible.Lolli

Baby Quasar

Postby Patroe » Mon Nov 13, 2006 11:46 am

Hi lollipop,

I have the Baby Q and I like it. My husband was out of town for the first two weeks I had it and he noticed a difference in my skin. He asked me what I'd been doing to my face, that my skin looked tighter. I take that as a sign that it really does something. I too notice a difference in my pore size and an overall more youthful appearance to my skin. I use it 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. Overall, I would recommend it. Pat

thanks, I just may go for it, when you consider its the cost of a shot of botox, why not? God...I am just glad I have 3 jobs to pay for all this stuff.Lookinup....what are u gonna do? are you getting one?Everyone on the other board is really raving about it,it was actually first recommended to a member by her dr. who reluctanly told her about it saying"I shouldnt tell you this(because she would lose business on her iPL treatments) but the Baby Quasar does the same thing DIY at home."

I currently have a micro current system and am very happy with it but the BQ is very hard to resist. Any one taken the plunge yet and purchased one or if you already have one any updates?

AFter all this holiday shopping is over, I might bite...actually, maybe I'll ask my husband to go for it for my present! (beats pj's and earrings, his unimaginative standard!) I have read only positives from those who actually use it. OK, I just bid on ebay. 3 more days....

Ok we make you the official guinea pig. I read the EDS boards a lot and have also heard all good things. Its pricey though, did you tell your hubby how much he is up for before bidding

MMH, sells a couple of these devices

Microcurrent

http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.d ... catid=1242

I use a wand system, but there are a couple of reviews on NuFace on EDS

Photo rejuvenation

http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/product.d ... catid=1245

The review on EDS is for the Baby Quasar or known as BB. I guess it comes down to the technical specs. BB has the best on the market but its also one of the most expensive.

Darn..I was outbid at the last minute...my luck....I heard from a reputable source at MMH that they would be carrying the baby quasar soon....so if it will be in the next few weeks, I'm just going to buy it here. I'll email them and see if they have an availability date.

on the essentialsayspa.com board they now have the quasar SP that is more powerful and covers a bigger area and you only have to do it once a week I think the co. is offering it with no interest right now its a lot more expensive but saves time I dont know what to do! Its important to save time but I want to save $$$ too!

A lot of positive comments, anybody know of any downside? -- no RF type problems or killing off of tissue?
