BOTOX LASTS FOR 6 MONTHS AND WORKS STRAIGHT AWAY, I LUV BOX

Chat about all the new and established non-surgical cosmetic treatments and procedures

Hi everyone,

I am on my second round of Botox and am prettyhappy with results. The first time it only lasted 2 months after 2 rounds of injections. I'm not sure if the doc diluted it too much or if my muscles were just too strong.

Second round: it's been a week, and I have slight (natural) movement in my forehead but I think I will need more in my "11" between my eyebrows and also in crows feet.

I do like it because it smooths me out but still allows me to look natural. I'm interested to see how long it lasts this time.

I wish there were a way to filter out the spammers on this web site.

Botox DOES NOT last 6 months ! Mine lasts 2 1/2 months, tops. I get injections every 3 months.

Sorry, but there are few absolutes in medicine. We are all just too different biologically.

Personally, my botox lasts 4-5 months in my forehead. And for me, it's definitely worth it.

I have to agree that everyone is different on how long botox lasts...i am 56 and have it twice a year i have been having botox for almost 3 yrs and i do think that with each time it lasts alittle bit longer...i must say though it depends on what your wrinkles were like when you started i really at 53 didn't have alot[my friend had many actually looked & still does alot older than she is botox helps her but certainly doesn't take them all away she was a major suntanner in her days...just my 2 cents....annemarie

Botox does not last 6 months for MOST people.Yes, there are a few lucky people where it does last but for most people its maybe 3 mos...my dr. confirmed this. Each person is different so if you try it once you will know if you are one of the lucky ones where it lasts 6 months. The botox and filler companies always tell you it lasts a lot longer than it really does for most people.Botox only lasts 6 weeks for me so I just quit doing it,I might do it once a yr if I have a special function to go to but thats it.
