Clenziderm and Nu Derm

Postby sunnyinva » Fri Feb 19, 2010 1:49 pm

Hi all. I'm hoping KadeeBelle will log in soon and help me. :D

I have been using Nu Derm for over a year and I love it. However, I confess, I am lazy about my protocol--whenever the peeling and redness gets too bad, I leave out Exfoderm or Tretonin.

Lately, my blackheads (which have always been very noticable) is OUT of control and I'm getting huge (cystic?) pimples that leave my skin soooo discolored (because I pick them--shame on me but gosh they just sit there soooo huge and gross, teasing me). (I do notice that because of Obagi, the turnover is faster than prior to my usage.) Even when I went to a professional to have them extracted, it took more than two visits and I still had the ugly discoloration.

I want to add Clenziderm (I just found out about it! And I was thrilled.) I did my research and read all the prior posts regarding Clenziderm, but I couldn't find an answer to my specific questions.

How do I incorporate Clenziderm into my routine (if I use it only in the morning, I never get to use Exfoderm Forte, and if I use it only in the evening, I never get to use the Blender/Tretonin)?

And, I'm not sure if I have oily or dry skin. I have been told both and combination by several skin specialist. I am leaning towards buying the Clenziderm for Normal to Oily, but then I also know that if I am dry and use products for oily skin, I could worsen my condition.

Sooooo confused and waiting (impatiently)for your reply. Thank you so much.

I have combination skin and I used the clenziderm normal to dry skin, as its my T-zone that was oily and my cheeks were dry and my spots were mainly on my chin and cheeks. I used step 2 clenziderm after Step 2 Toner from Nu-derm in the morning only. If I used it at night, I found that my skin got too sore with rubbing the blender and tret combination on it too. I brought mine at a really cheap price off ebay uk.

Hope this helps,
