Help with Obagi Action

Help with Obagi ActionI have been using Obagi nu-derm system for 4 weeks, my skin is calmer and clearer but sometimes so red its quite embarassing (especially if wanting to go out in the evening). I asked my Dr. if I could have the Action cream as I read it reduces redness. I was told I should not use this as it will make the system less effective. Is this true? If so, any suggestions for less redness if you want to go out.
Re: Help with Obagi ActionAction is better than the Tolereen, which contains a steriod to reduce redness. I don't mind the action as much, it's just a thick no-nonsense moisturizer. I'd prefer though that patients used something more antioxidative focused so the extra product is doing something effective too.

Re: Help with Obagi ActionThanks. Is there anything you can recommend to use and at what stage should it be applied? Also is it normal to have early symptoms return i.e. slight burning, increased peeling after week 6?
Re: Help with Obagi ActionAction should be used after all other products except sunscreen are applied, then sunscreen. Or, at night, the last item that goes on.
You can have a bit of a reaction, 6 weeks is a full skin cell cycle, and thus you have new skin at the surface, which can be sensitive. Be conscience to try to use as little of product as possible - more doesn't equal more effective or better... only more irritating good luck!
