Shiny skin

Postby dooger » Sat Jan 16, 2010 7:42 pm

Love the Obagi nuderm after about 3 wks - my only problem is the extreme shiny look to forehead, nose. Tried concelers, powder, foundation (jane iredale) nothing works! Any suggestions? I don't know if I can continue if I can't resolve this problem...

That tends to happen as the epidermis "thins" from having less built up/layers of skin on the epidermis - I recommend Bare Minerals Matte until you finish the 16 week protocol and go onto maintenance. When you cut back to less product this tends to subside. :) good luck!

Thanks, the BM Matte is working better than anything else I have tried!

Another question - is there an alternative to the Sundfader? I find it pretty heavy to wear under make-up and would like to find a lighter spf formula if possible. I know it contains the hydroquinone 4%, but considering I'm already using the Clear (also hydroquinone) do I really need it?

Eating a healthy well balanced diet helps to keep your skin glowing and blemish free. Eliminate fried greasy foods from your diet as well as carbonated drinks and sweets. Eating more vegetables and fruit along with drinking eight or more glasses of water a day will help to improve the feel and look of your skin. Getting the right amount of vitamins, proteins, and minerals also plays an important role in having healthy skin no matter what age you are.
