Tretinoin Gel 0.01%I have finally decided I want to start the Obagi system. The system is so expensive I know I will be eating $1 TV dinners for a year. I have been using Tretinoin Gel 0.01% prescribed by my doctor and was wondering if I could use it with the system (to save money) or would I just be waisting my time and money? I was also wondering if anyone sees any benifit to purchasing the travel sizes?
I also wondered if anyone knew of a cheaper site than Ebay to purchase the system? I found 2cool2fast.com but no one answers the phone.
Tretinoin gel is Retin a so I don't think that part wouldMake a difference, the carrier is the ONLY difference.
Obagi as I know it includes hydroquinione, this ia chemical I wouldn't use. Personally I'd stick with tretinoin (maybe go up in strength), use a great sunscreen and maybe add a C serum that you can make yourself for pennies. My insurance plan pays for my retin a, always has and I use it for anti wrinkle purposes, but they don't need to know that. So basically, I pay 8 bucks a month for skincare.
