Biore is less sticky than the tape they put on your nose, so I would imagine so. it's not that sticky.
I'm only a week post op and plan on using a "green french clay" mask to remove my blackheads.. I think it will be ok

Good luck

I bought it at "whole foods" it's a natral food store in case you don't know.
It was in the beauty isle and came in a powder form to be mixed into a mask. It is the same thing spas use. Very good at cleaning and tightening pores

Hi Justabitsmaller,

I am 4 weeks post-op and have been using Biore strips for the last week. No problems. You even get to relive that lovely 'cast-on' feeling!

I also am using a clay mask thing. It dries like mud. Have found this much better. Is from Australia though. Probably similar to the product Ally was talking about.

Enjoy.

i am only 2 days post op but i was planning on getting something for my skin after my splint came off. Does that french creme really work the best?

Does the skin typically become more dry or more oily throughout the cast process? After the cast is removed, does the skin change (become more or less oily?)

I'm still about 23 days away from my surgery date, but I'm trying to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks!

My skin was very dry and peeling from the tape.
Now it is more on the oily side and my pores are gross!!

I'm going to make a mask with the clay tonight, hopefully it will help.

I'm only a week and a day post-op. Just got my splint off today, and when I looked at my new nose, i realized that a colony of black heads had moved in. I REALLY want to use my biore strips, but I guess I'll just go with a clay mask since that seems to be the consensus. Maybe I'll buy the green clay stuff next time I go to Whole Foods, it sounds nice

Im 6 months post op. I still a have peeling AND oily nose! I have to exfoliate it daily to keep the peeling at bay. Also, I had major break outs all of it for about 4-5 weeks post op and I used the mint julip(?) mask from Queen Helens. You can get that in the US at any CVS or Walgreens.

wont the bior strips pull on your nose when you take them off?? same with masks etc - you are touching your nose to wash it off completely and all that movement can irritate delicate tissues? I Just drip toner on my nose
