Hey guys

I had 2 consultations so far, one with Dr. H and the other with Dr. F of beverly hills. At my primary my bridge was overresected and the tip cartilages too, so my nose is kinda a retracted mess. Hilinski wants to use rib, as he feels theres not enough septal cartilage in my nose (assumption based on ethnicity) to build the tip back. He seemed like he was listening to exactly what i wanted and didnt want, and paid close attention to detail (my small ears, my bridge having been narrowed SLIGHTLY more on one sid ethan the other). Frankel ont he other hand, wants to do the same thing to my tip, but without rebuilding my tip and just extending my septum to push the tip down and out with septal cartilage. However im a little wary of how much he wants to narrow my bridge, he says if i want to keep it similar he willl add a graft to build up the bridge a bit but i risk the edges showing (sumething i noticed on his website on someone else).

What do i do!! What would you guys do! I want a strong pointed tip and a slightly built up nose. B oth seem to be good at different things.

I really can't tell you which surgical plan is better. Were you able to see before and after pics in their offices of patients with problems similar to yours? Maybe that will help with your decision?

I'm considering consulting with both doctors. Did Dr. Hilinski show you pictures where he built up a nose with rib? I might need rib and am wondering how good he is with it, considering that he's less experienced compared to some of the other older, big name surgeons. Thanks!
