peanutsie69 - you always have a way of making me feel SO much better.
I had my last nite - big time. Got it all out (I read that some people go through this post-op).
When I came to work this morning, the few people who knew I had the surgery commented that it was ALOT straighter. Okay, I'll take that!!!
I too am sick of obsessing about it - it is what it is, there is little I can do about it, I chose to do this, I have to accept the consequences.
I agree with your comment "any improvement is an improvement" I said exactly the same thing - anything is better than what I had.
I think that this "obsession" with our new noses is normal.
I'm finding that I'm getting fearful of looking in the mirror now for fear of what's looking back and that it may have changed yet again.
Better days ahead - tomorrow I'll have all my answers - makin' a list!!!
hi-hope your 1st day back to work is an enjoyable one.as far as the coffee,i have at least 2 cups of the java before i leave the house, and a nice 16 ouncer for my ride in.since today is st pattys day i AM in the mood for a green beer but i have to behave myself im still working.im even afraid of having a few,ive read where alcohol can increase swelling but sooner or later im gonna take the plunge.based on your post op pics i don't see a big deal with the swelling.the bruising you have is an easy fix (for you women).things could be a lot worse, heck i still look like MR.T
