Possible to correct scooped nose with tip deprojection?

Possible to correct scooped nose with tip deprojection?

Postby sammiej » Sun May 28, 2017 7:17 am

Hi, I had a primary last year to remove a small hump that left me with a scooped nose (over resection with a long curve). I want to know if it's it possible to correct this with tip deprojection? Has anyone done this? Also, do spreader grafts (not overlays) help with scooped noses?

No, spreader grafts wouldn't help your profile.

I guess it would depend on how deep the scoop is? if it's very bad, I would say definitely not - then youll just end up with a "flat" nose.
