Rhinoplasty + Deviated Septum Surgeon Considerations

Rhinoplasty + Deviated Septum Surgeon Considerations

Postby palma13 » Sun Jan 28, 2018 12:59 am

Hi guys,

I am originally from Canada but willing to travel anywhere in the world for my case. I am a male who has a deviated septum and it does cause me issues though nothing major...more nuisances like rhinitis, occasional sneezing fits and I do have sleep apnea that might be related to it but who knows. Waiting for sleep study results.

This is me: https://imgur.com/a/Djlut

In your opinion which surgeon would be a great fit for me to for a septorhinoplasty procedure? Obviously someone with ethnic, male and thick skin (I don't know if I have it or not) would be great. I am not looking for a dramatic result or anything. Honestly all I want is the septum issue fixed, bridge shaved down and not have the dorsum of my nose from the bony part to the tip made any fatter than what the width of the bony part is right now and add some definition (ie vertical lines defining the dorsum)

Anyways, I am considering the following surgeons because they seem to have good experience with my type of deformities and seem to set realistic expectations and have not been accused of shady/fraudulent practices that some of the other surgeons, including top ones, have been reported for on here. Practices like you know fraud, photoshopped pics and their office members posting reviews on here...like really did you just say 'your surgeon is a god and you were freaked by how his results were so much better than you ever thought possible...FOH!' I have a low tolerance for lies, overselling and unprofessionalism so I have eliminated a lot of 'good surgeons' off my list.

So far I have: Lamperti (Seattle), Rival (Toronto) and Adamson (Toronto) and Chevy Chase (DC).

Your help is greatly appreciated.

You look fine. Seriously, don't do anything. You can easily end up with constant pain, breathing problems, and an uglier face too. Most people will end up with at least one of these, some get all three.

Also "Chevy Chase, MD" is a town in Maryland, not a surgeon.
