Rhinoplasty - Teaching hospital? Cheaper? Toronto.

Rhinoplasty - Teaching hospital? Cheaper? Toronto.

Hey,

So I'm looking into getting a nose job and I know that U of T has a teaching program for plastic surgery. Does anyone know anything about this? I've read that many of the surgeons are professors and teach as well. My oral-maxofacial surgeon said that he can reduce my jaw surgery by $1500 if I allow students to watch the procedure. Is this true for a nose job as well?

Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Whatever you do you will regret it...Save yourself your money, time and pain. At the end it's not worth it and it won't change anything in your life even if right now you think it will. Read the book "Present PErfect" by Pavel Somov and it may help you realize some things in life. I wish I listened to others and was not so stubborn...now it;s too late...can't turn back time....Please don't do either one of these procedure until you read this book....Try to learn to love yourself and accept yourself....One day you'll thank me.....
Good luck!

Be very careful with this. Sure, these students have to get their experience somehow, but really, does anybody want to be that guinea pig?! Don't just take his word for it that the students will only be observing, especially if he's offering a discount; I've found many surgeons to be the most outrageous liars.

You're going to want to get papers drawn up by a solicitor for the surgeon to sign stating that any students will only be there to observe and not participate. You'll need a witness in the operating room too. If your surgeon backs away from this find another.
