Yeah, it was a new show that aired on UK TV this week. Menick examined him and advised him of a surgery plan but he has to raise funds.

I wish I could get the surgery done asap, however, surgeon has given me an estimate of about US$ 90,000 & I do not have that much money right now.

So for now, the best I can do is, hope that this pain & breathing problem will not kill me & I will be able to stay alive at least till the end of the legal fight - as if I were to die before that, it would make it that much easier for dr. angelo cuzalina to minimize his losses.

P.S. I have at least made some arrangements, so that if something were to happen to me, at least my public awareness campaign website (http://www.myplasticsurgerynightmare.com/) would stay online for some time.

For complete nasal reconstructions including skin grafts Menick must be one of the very best.

RhinoPatient, why not crowd fund your operation? There's a good chance you'll get the money. I don't understand why you haven't done that? Then the legal compensation could be spent on rebuilding your life.

I thought that TV show covered the surgeries? I guess not.

But, please remember that Menick has restored many lost noses. Recently, I had a nose fixed that with so much scar tissue other doctors said it could not be fixed.

I know we all have or had nose issues and and many of us here are struggling to come up with the cash to get our much needed surgeries. PLEASE consider donated to Vishal to help him get this surgery. All you have to do is get on the link to his website and use the paypal he has set up there. Its quick and easy. I see that this thread had 4,436 views already! Can you imagine if each one of those viewers just donated $50.00 a piece. That calculates out to $221,800. Vishal would be well on the way to recovery. I just donated. I CHALLENGE you, all my caring friends here on this board. Just do it and you know karma is a very powerful thing. It can't hurt to have a little good karma working for you before you get your surgery. :D

Well said! Really kind of you to reach out to people to donate on Vishal's behalf. You inspired me to donate. x

I didn't notice the pay button when I briefly revisited the site yesterday. I think if RhinoPatient had their appeal on a crowdfunding site, with a running total for the appeal, it would generate more momentum.

Hi, Vishal.

I went to donate, but couldn't see a paypal option and I am very wary of entering my card details onto a system I don't know due to internet and banking security.

I don't know anything about gofundme but I have heard about it so more likely to use their interface.

Hi km,
Just wanted to say that when you get on Vishals website look at the upper right hand corner. There a red bar that says donate. Paypal sent me receipts yesterday for my transaction. It appears to be very legit.
Thank-you so much for reviving this thread, km! Please, anyone else reading this, step up to the plate and donate now. Vishal needs a second chance. Lets get some momentum going here.

When you use Paypal, only PayPal sees the credit card numbers. And PayPal is a trusted site just like Google checkout.

He set up a funding website a few years ago at "Fundly". BUT now that website is defunct. Not sure he is aware of that.

Vishal, do think about setting up a new funding website. I've got your case as a STICKY on my message board on the Social Psyche section. My mod capabilities here don't let me put 'stickies' up though.

Also, bachi is correct about the Paypal thing. The person you donate the PP to or whom you pay (eg over e bay or something) by using PP does NOT see your credit card info. Only PP sees that.

Yeah, there was his Fundly appeal linked on a previous page in this thread but I think the problem with that was it got abandoned and forgotten due to lack of visibility. An appeal on GoFundMe could likely generate much better momentum. Out of the four donations on the Fundly site I notice an anonymous donor gave near 17 000 dollars. How about that for generosity!

Hello Everyone,

I haven't been online for a while, however now that I am actually able to type, its only fair that I share the update with you.

(Finally) I had my first (of estimated 5-6) surgery done. It was done on Sept 25th, & though I wanted to post earlier, the skin graft that was taken from my right arm delayed me from making this post.

First 2-3 weeks after surgery (as expected) are suppose to be painful & difficult, however it is also true that I am sooooo freakin happy that dealing with this pain & discomfort is far more easier than I expected.

I am still recovering, but wanted to make sure that I at least thank you all for the moral support & your kindness.

Thank you again, you may or you may not realize it, but you all have helped a lot.

Thank you so, so much for updating. I hope that all your surgeries and healing processes go well, and that you can finally recover from this nightmare. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through...it's beyond words. Please know that we're all thinking of you and we are wishing you a positive future where you can be happy again.

May I ask about the consequences of the lawsuit against Cuzalina? I've read a little about it, and about his ridiculous legal actions against you, so I'm wondering what the status is now. I'd like to think that this doctor will never, ever practice again.
