How to diminish a small scar !

Postby FLJEN » Sun Jan 22, 2012 11:20 am

Ok, so I read this on the internet somewhere and I tried it and it worked pretty good. I have a small purple scar the size of a large pea on my inner calf that I hated after the Derm cut it out. So, what I read was to use the wart remover from the store that freezes the skin. This is how my Derm gets my sun spots off me and I know it works... fyi....so I tried it on my scar and it went from a deep purple to a pink. So I am going to try it again soon before summer and see if it gets any better. I used it also on a big brown spot on my leg and it worked great. Dont freak out because it will look worse before it gets better. Good luck ! :)

Hey Jen!

I have a scar from my TT that really bothers me. Its literally right dead center above my Vjay. center below the Belly button..
If I wear a low bikini it shows. I don't like it at all.. its bad because my incision split open and my ps didn't pull it back together but let it heal wide instead. its about the size of the top segment of my index finger..
about 1/2" long by 1/8" high. its not raised but instead indented. and deep purple. the rest of my scar has healed so nicely and I can live with it.. but this one is ugly and being wherre its located it really is annoying.
I swim everyday and so therefore shows up. as I go to the gym everyday and change in locker room I'm seen by many ladies.. I can handle that all who see me know right away I had a TT, but I still hate that the scar is so prominent in that spot.
I have serious thoughts of getting it covered with a tattoo but would rather not have to do that..
Its been a year as you know and Its no better. doubt it will. and as summer will be here soon and I will be out and about much more in my skimpier bikinis, I want it gone.
do you think its too late to try fixing it? what have you done about yours?
my PS just blows it off because she is an older lady who obviously just thinks I should.. (let my hair grow back in... ) I know this is TMI sorry,
but I happen to have a hubby who likes smooth.. :) anyways, Its bugging me so much.. I don't want to have to be limited on swimwear to cover it..
what have you experienced with your scars? I know living in FL your in a bikini alot! and btw, you look amamazing!! :)
