Dr David Shafer - anyone been to him?

Hi all,
Has anyone consulted or had a procedure with Dr. David Shafer in New York? He has tons of reviews, but I can't find any message board discussions. Come out of the woodwork if you're out there!

I been for fillers - restylane 2 syringes ( with none of those groupons or deals just so people think I am an angry group on customer) and I was not terribly impressed. He is a sweet guy with nice charisma and pleasant personality but doesn't have good aesthetics. I hated how he injected and wasn't super pleased with the results. Frustrating especially since I paid about 2000 and have since found out he frequently participates in those gilt deals like 350 for 1cc. Probably because he can't secure a regular client base.

Also I bruised after his injections and this is literally the first time in 5+ years I bruised after having restylane done. He promised if I bruise, he had a special laser that would lighten up the bruise but when I called - his receptionist was super rude to me and he was out of town for the conference. I ended up going to a huge NYC gala event with a giant bruise under my eye looking like a victim of domestic violence. When he finally layered the bruise, it was over 1.5 weeks later and by that point, it wasn't so crucial.
