Plastic Surgery in Australia

Plastic Surgery in Australia

Postby Janewinchester1979 » Sat Mar 31, 2012 5:51 pm

Okay folks- Australia has a very high standard of medical care, similar to that of the USA. However, not long ago a 26 year old woman died as the result of liposuction complications, and another young mother of five, Mrs. Kerry Mullins, has been left severely mutilated by Dr. Morris Ritz from the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery. Furthermore, Australia now has a National Medical Board. A truly staggering amount of time and money has been spent in the setting up of this new Australian Medical Board, who are inept in the extreme. While good, hard working doctors have their licenses suspended over what are minor matters in comparison to these- the medical board in Australia has not so much as slapped either of these doctors over the wrist. Now, this forum will tell you to make sure you have a plastic surgeon with the highest possible qualifications, however both these surgeons were fully trained plastic/reconstructive surgeons. The liposuction one, I don't mention because I believe he has learnt something. He has expressed his sorrow and vowed never to perform liposuction again (despite his thousands of successful ones). Dr. Morris Ritz, however, has responded by flooding the internet with information about what an incredible breast surgeon he is (Mrs. Mullins went to him and LOST her entire breast, hello?) AND he made sure that he got his own little publicity segment about macrolance- the lunch time breast jab. Not one Australian woman would have known that a legal battle was going on between Kerry Mullins and Dr. RItz's lawyers, at precisely the same time that Dr. Ritz was flogging himself as Melbourne's macrolane - lunch time boob job - So this man, this Dr. Morris Ritz KNOWS that poor Mrs. Mullins might be watching his macrolane Boob job special but he could NOT CARE LESS- And is willing to cover the truth of his real actions

Hi- I must agree with you here. My girlfriend was about to go and see Dr. Morris Ritz at The Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery for a breast augmentation. I set about doing more research about him and was shocked at what I found- as you say- all very legal. It is very bad that the Australian Medical Board protects plastic surgeons like this one. Always research and do more research- As you say, if the man was a bit more regretful and expressed an apology or something- but no- he tries very hard to cover it all up by promoting himself as one of the great experts in breast surgery- get a life! Once again, yes- be aware and be WARE - google Dr. Morris RItz, Kerry Mullins Sixty Minutes
