PlasticSurgeryJourneys.com

I read about plasticsurgeryjourneys.com on these forums and thought it would be a good idea to join because I am looking for doctors overseas. Is this site still up and running? I created a basic account a few days ago and it was never activated, so I decided to go ahead and invest in the Premium Membership, which offered "immediate activation" and my account still is not active. I've tried emailing their support and I've received no reply. Can anyone out there with a valid membership tell me if the site is still even operational?

There are still a hand full of regulars over there... however, a lot of folks have issues of paying for premium membership and never hearing back from anyone. Did you use paypal? if so, you may need to report it. It seems most folks only get their membership once paypay gets involved...sigh

It seems to be most useful if you are considering Costa Rica... For whatever reason, there are a handful of folks on that forum who continue to post. However, other than that, it is mainly good just to go back and read old posts.

I filed a claim with PayPal and, sure enough, the very next day (yesterday) I was granted access to the site. I took a quick look at it and you are right, most everything seems pretty outdated now since there are so few active members. I contacted PayPal and told them I still want a refund of my subscription because I subscribed for "immediate access" over a week ago and I have since already decided on my doctor and recovery retreat, so I no longer need any of the info on the site.

Good for you! I never paid the fee, I'm fine being a regular member.

I actually experienced the same thing with PSjourneys, though I never ended up paying. Glad to hear it wasn't worth it (I still don't have access). So I'm curious on the Dr. you decided on? I'm looking into Dr. Agruello, Dr. Urzola, Dr. Chavvaria and Dr. Suarez...Anyone have any experience?

Thanks!

Theresa, I'm leaving in a few days to have a TT and BR with Dr. Urzola, so I'll let you know how it goes. Have you decided on a doc?

These Guys are so shady!!! I applied for basic membership 4 months ago, with no reply!
I upgraded to premium, a few days ago, and off course it hasnt been activated. They need to shut down this useless sight, if no ones using it.
Glad I read this! I will contact PayPal now for a refund. Thanx

Surprise! I filed a complaint with PayPal, and was activated that day.
