I have small fat pockets located by my lips that I'm wondering is treatable for fat removal either by cutting it out or lipo?
They are visible when I smile and at rest.
I have heard facial lipo is generally dangerous due to the nerves and could produce some devastating results should there be a problem and if they remove fat closer to the skin causing surface irregularities.
I read this about Buccal fat removal though, this is NOT the area I'm interested in having removed though, which is a smaller area near my mouth in the picture disclosed.
What is the risk profile for for fat removal in the area I'm interested in? and which option is the best that you would perform?
I saw the photo and I know precisely what you are talking about but I dont have any minimally invasive solutions for that as its not simply a matter of fat but also muscle action and skin. You are correct about facial lipo and its dangers as well as buccal fat removal and its long term problems. The problem you have is a tough one and one that I have seen many times before. I do not personally have a solution for this but perhaps someone like Dr. William Little in Washington DC who does muscle release routinely as part of his facelifts may have an answer for you.
