Im having a TT & Lipo on July 18th.. My dr. is doing the TL in 2 stages, he is going to "lipo" thighs,knees and butt as well as the TT for the first stage then in 4 months I go back and remove the skin, he said there is going to be so much swelling he feels this is best. Has anyone had this done in 2 phases? (the TL)
Also can anyone give me any pointers on how they delt with the swelling/pain of liop of the thighs.
I swear by the female urinal. I know it sounds gross but it literally made my life so much easier and so much easier to go to the bathroom! Only time I had to take my compression garment off was when I had to go number two. Best part about it was that you can urinate with your garment on and standing up! It's like 10 dollars. Worth $100! It saved me!
That's the way I did it...the thigh lipo is so horrible to recover from and my ps said u won't have adequate blood supply to heal both at once. No one wants two surgeries (had the lipo to debulk in April and I'm 6 days post op from the MTL). I can't imagine having both together! Plus- your results are better bc he can cut more skin. Female urinal and lots of help...I still can't bend!
