My experience

Thanks for the towel trick Amy. @ freespiritha, I have a groin incision and it does all the way down inner thigh to right above my knee cap. In addition I have incision marks under both butt cheeks. I used to weight 240lbs and now I weight 125 so I had tons of saggy skin and cellulite and fat left in the thighs. I am just so swollen now. I prefer a thicker thigh just not jiggly, I like that smooth look!!! I now know I need a lower body lift in the back and buttock augumentation just as I PM'd to you. I also had to have a tummy tuck revision and belly button repair while I was there. Unfortunately no luck with the belly button it is still not looking good :-( I had a breast augmentation and tummy tuck on March 28th of this year already. My last procedure will be the lower body lift, buttock augmentation and arm lift in 4 months and I am totally done!!!!! I can't wait for this to be over because I need to get rid of these scars. I am a woman of color who scars and keloids easily so the thigh lift has been a challenge for me!! I bought a lot of stuff to help with the keloiding and scars because I will "own" next summer and show these legs. I thought 10years was bad, you said it has been 25 for you! You are long overdue, Dr. Cardenas will have you looking great. I need to stop being lazy and post some before and after's I just want to wait for the swelling to go down!

Ej, yes, would love to see some pics. I used to weigh 240 lbs too, but the smallest I ever got was 135. When I did my bootcamp, I gained 10 lbs but it was all muscle.

I am loving my new smooth thighs, even though they are still swollen and a lot of numbness. I can now wear a bathing suit with no shame!!!!

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Annie, everything is healing well. In fact, at my last visit, the doc commented on how great the incisions looked. In my opinion, they look the best out of any I have. I still have swelling, of course, and a few bumpy areas, but they are slowly doing doing. No pain at all, legs feel great. In all honesty, I am really only sore from lipo areas on my body where I had the stubborn fat. How, I wish I could have burned the fat off somehow b/c lipo is way worse than I thought it would be.....

That's great you are doing so well and your incisions look great. Your legs are beautiful.

I know, lipo takes everybody by surprise. I think for some reason we all think that in comparison to the other surgeries, it will be easy. Yet it is so often the most painful part. Or, at least, the pain lasts the longest and then the swelling...

But, it will all be so worth it in the end. I know that is hard to hear now, but it will be. You've been through an AL and a TL...both notoriously hard and painful surgeries (not to mention the TT). All rewarding. So is the lipo eventually!

( I know, easier to talk about it than to live it. You sure look gorgeous though, so I know that helps. )

If you had burned the fat off in those areas, most likely you would have ended up too skinny in other areas through the process. Now your figure is so balanced and, well, perfect!
