Where do you buy Bio oil at? Any drugstore? I've seen the TV advertisements for it.

It's widely available at health food stores. I've also seen it at the Vitamin Shoppe.

Or maybe try online at a site like drugstore.com or even Amazon.

I found mine at Target in the health section next to the Pharmacy Desk. It was right on the same shelf with the Mederma and such.

The bottle says to use it fora minimum of 3 months, twice daily. I bought it at my local drugstore, walgreens. It was kinda in the cosmetic area. By mederma and the coco butter lotions. I just pour a little in my left hand (maybe a nikel size) and I use my right finger, dip it in the oil and run my finger along the scar. I prob use more than I should cause I use that whole nikel size amount. My doc said a little bottle should last a long time but I bought the big one and have been through alot so far. Maybe I am a little obsessive.

My surgant recommended this stuff. He said its better than mederma or any of that. Its working well for me!

It basically has; Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Calendula oil, Lavender oil, Rosemary oil, Chamomile oil, PurCellin Oil in it.

They say it helps improve the appearance of scars andthat it is effective in helping to maintain the elasticity of scar tissue on joints.

I just started to use it and haven't noticed much difference except my skin isn't dry and is really soft.

I didn't notice much of a difference after using Bio-Oil. I noticed an improvement after using emu oil, though.
