how long until internal stitches dissolve?

I can feel a few of my internal stitches all along my insicion line, sometimes they do bug me when I wear something around my waist. Does anyone know how long until they dissolve??

Hey Elle, can you please PM me your BA album. And were your "flanks" just swelling??? I had lipo on my flanks with bruises to show for it, but they seem to be back with a vengence. I want to know if it could be just swelling??? You look awesome by the way!

I'm 5 weeks and am sure I can still feel them. Will ask at my appointment today.

Hey Elle, I don't really have an answer, but at 2 1/2 months I can still feel some of mine in the middle of my scar. Wish I had an answer for you

I asked my PS today. He said they normally take a good 2 to 3 months. What I think are stitches could be scar tissue, which will normalise in time, a long time, like 2 years. He recommends massaging as I am putting Bio Oil on it. Hope this helps.
