Both of the Spanx CGs I had (different types), came with attachable straps that hook on and go over your shoulders. What kind did you get? The kind in a package or was it on a hanger?

They should have had the straps I think.

I got the ones in the package; they don't have a sewn on waist band and I wondered if that was the problem.

Are yours the panty type? Mine came to just under my breasts. Do yours not come up that high?

I had some types that had this sticky band at the top, that kind of stuck to your skin. Like rubber. I wonder if you could get some of that? Double sided tape to put it on? Do you know what I am referring to? I don't know my way around a fabric store to save my life, but if you can find something like that it might help.

My Spanx did not have that, but other CGs I had did.

This has been a huge issue with me. I have two spanx (none came with straps) I have 3 cupids and another off brand. They are all suppose to come up under the bra and They all roll down. I spend half my day pulling it up. Its probably a good thing I stand most of the day as it is worse when I sit. I think I am just very broad in that area! If I get a larger size then its not enough compression on the tummy. I would love to find one that didnt do this, but I dont think I will have much luck. I have tried the double sided tape for dresses and such and it didnt work very well so I doubt it would work for this. I also dont want to go spend too much more money as I only have 4 more weeks to wear this thing!!

Tangles, you could possibly try the rubber. When I said double sided tape, I meant to hold the rubber on to the cg. I have no idea if it would work. Mine had it built in rubbery lining. But just to save what you have already bought and not waste it, I thought it might work.

But I don't know if you can buy that stuff or not. Really thin rubbery material that you put along the top of the cg, on the inside, against the skin. Keeps it from rolling down.

I have had this problem.
Buy some elastic from walmart in the sewing department and pin it under your bra and at the sides of your spanx. It will keep it from starting to roll down.
Another solution I have used is to buy a pair of large pantyhose that come up higher than the spanx and wear them over top. This works pretty good but it means wearing two layers.
