Hi Dr Harris,

Are you still a contributor on this forum?

Im thinking of consulting you soon. Im coming from Canada but I LOVE your before and afters (my only concern is a wide dorsum and I saw you wrote a paper detailing this and Ive seen a lot of images of wide bridges unnaturely narrowed so I need someone experienced in this problem) Just wondering if you could give us a rough estimate of how many rhinoplasty operations youve performed through your private practice over the years. I know you probably dont keep count but just a ballpark guesstimate. Thanks

P.s. If I consulted you then had surgery straightaway how many weeks do you recommend I stay for in case theres any swelling problems and I need steroid shots

Hi Marlenek,

I'm still here. The format has changed somewhat so I'm not contributing as often. I do appreciate you compliment regarding my rhinoplasty results. It means a lot to me. As far as managing the wide bridge, I have a lot of experience in patients of diverse ethnic groups with wide noses. The key is identifying which parts of the underlying anatomy account for the wide bridge . . .and making appropriate, balanced modifications. I often see overly narrowed bridges which lose harmony with the other parts of the nose. My goal is to always achieve a balanced natural appearing aesthetic outcome.

I have patients who travel to see me from throughout North American and abroad so don't hesitate to follow up with me for a phone or in office consultation. We can discuss more specifics regarding my surgical volume along with your surgical goals.

All the Best,

Dr. Harris
