Hi Claudia:

Thanks for the info regarding Wellbox. I've never heard of it before. I'll do a little research with the link you provided. The gal I met who asked about "cellulite" on her face had it in pockets on her cheeks. I never would have noticed unless she pointed it out, then it was pretty obvious. It's probably a herditary condition. Her face was wide and full, but her body was small and tiny.

I was a little late with derma rolling this week. I did it last night, but I couldnt' muster the courage to used the 1.5 mm roller, so I stuck with the .5 again. I swear my scars are looking better. I can see the scars are getting a tiny bit smaller under my arms and around my breasts. The scars aren't as red and they are getting more pale and less raised. I think I'm going to need a little more treatments and time with my abdominalplasty area.

This morning, when I got up, my face looked fresher after last night's session of derma rolling. My neck still has some tiny wrinkles, but that may take a while to decrease. Everything takes time, I've noticed.

I'm not using any sort of numbing cream. The pain isn't as bad as I expected it to be either. There is some slight stinging on my face, but when I use th roller on my body, there is instant pain, but none that lingers. I'll get up enough courage to use a bigger needle on my body... may be next week.

It's so simple to use too. I didn't pay much for the roller and I run it under hot water and soak it in isopropyl alcohol for 30 minutes and let it air dry, roller side up, in the case without the lid on and the next morning I put the protective wrap around the head and replace it in the container and put it away until the next week. I'm so happy about this. I CAN tell a difference, but it's mostly on scars and not cellulite or wrinkles.

Stay tuned for next week's progress report and thank you for the suggestion of Wellbox. I don't think I've ever noticed anyone with cellulite on the cheeks of their faces before, but now I will be looking for it.

keep it up Quasi, you are seriously my "weekly" read ! :D

It really is great that you are able to explain to everyone else out there how it works for a "regular" person and not someone from MMH. You give people a real realistic idea of what to expect and how it feels. Ive seen others on here that have mentioned they used the roller for months and months and months.....and STILL nothing! So disappointing because it makes it seem like they don't work at all when really they can help some out. (Ever thought of doing a YouTube how-to?)

For you, it seems to give quicker results for the scars than cellulite or wrinkles. (everyone's different)

If you have any questions on the Wellbox, please let me know,,,,,looking forward to next week!

Take Care :D

Hi ya, Claudia and everyone else:

I've been a tad busy. You know, it's the holiday season and there is so much to do.

I did another super quick treatment on Thursday. I know I wasn't supposed to go outside, but I had so many errands to run. I should have applied SPF, but my face burns if I apply it. I have Bare Minerals Veil face powder, SPF 25, but I forgot to apply it, plus I'm not supposed to use cosmetics for three days after a treatment. I hope one time in the sun won't hurt (keeping fingers crossed).

My scar reduction has ceased changing much these past few weeks. I wonder if I should bump up the needle size to perhaps 1 or 1.5. 1.5 is recommended as the largest needle size for the body for personal use. Nothing larger unless a licensed professional is using it. I'm just afraid of pain and bleeding. I really don't want to bleed. Thus far, I've had no bleeding, which makes me happy. I can feel the needles on my forehead making a popping noise, but on the fattier parts of my body, I can't feel anything, except some pricking pain.

So far, though, no change with the sagging skin, sun damage and some minor changes in the scars. I don't have cellulite or acne scars, so I can't comment on how the dermarolling would work on skin with those problems.

I'll post again next week. This time I'll try a larger needle for my body. Hopefully, it won't hurt!

Quasi

PS Sorry about not checking into the Wellbox. I've had so much going on that I totally forgot about it.

I performed another treatment two days ago. While the progress seems to have slowed down substaintlly, I still think my drain scars are smaller. I still haven't tried the 1.5 mm body dermaroller. The rest of my scars are about the same. Not much change from a few weeks ago with the roller treatment.

Claudia, I looked up the Wellbox and it's tre' EXPENSIVE. I really don't think the gal I met a few weeks back has the moolah for it and I don't think she has the time for the treatments. Plus, I have no clue what she has on her face. It's probably the best that she sees a Dermatologist to diagnose what she has and go from there. Thankfully, I was blessed by not having much cellulite anywhere, but I wasn't blessed with the hourglass figure either.

Forever searching for the hips (got a tiny butt now, thankful for the implants),

Quasi!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw you posted a while back but Ive just been so darn busy. And weird because I could have sworn I at least posted something quick, but I guess I never hit submit- I dunno what I did!

The Wellbox-pricey? lol...well, I certainly wouldnt say that its cheap--but what I can tell you is I think almost every single rental turns into a purchase. I was skeptical at first (really), but amazed at how much people really love it!

I understand, its a spluge and not for everyones wallet, BUT-- had to at least tell you guys about it, never hurts to have the info on hand in case it comes up in a convo with anyone else :D

Anyhoo-- :) thank you for the update on your derma rolling, what week are you on now? week 6?

Hey Claudia:

Thanks for the Wellbox info. Yes, you are right! If I see the gal again I'll suggest it. She may go for it since it gets great reviews. Luckily, I don't have much cellulite. I hear it's difficult to get rid of. I have a tiny bit, but I have to push the skin together for it to show and that's my upper arms and inner thighs, but like I said, ONLY IF I PUSH IT TOGETHER  .

I lost count what week I was on, I did a treatment today. This time I used the 5 mm on my face and a 1 MM ON MY BODY! Yes, I finally didn't chicken out tonight! You know, it didn't hurt any more than the 5 mm. I might work up to the 1.5 mm next time.

The drain holes are getting smaller, I swear and the abdominalplasty scars are turning whiter on my left side. That side was kind of messed up. The skin was pulled a little too tight and I have a "love" handle above the scar now. The right side looks about the same. I might not be using the exact same pressure or movement on that side.

My undearms aren't changing much. My breast surgery is looking better though. I'll be able to tell a little more next week with the use of the bigger needle.

So far, I have to say, I'm pleased with my results. I would highly recommend the dermarolling for any scar tissue. I can't say much for the wrinkles or dark spots though.

I'll check in next week and in the mean time, have a great weekend!

Hugs,

Quasi

Hi Everyone:

I've been searching for my old posts! I can't believe my last one was in December! HARK! It's now almost April!

Well, I went on a few vacations and I didn't do the rolling every week, like I should have. I moved my .5 to 1.5 for my body. I haven't noticed much of a difference in the abdominalplasty area or underarm areas, but my breasts are "almost" seamless and my drain holes via abdominalplasty have gone down from dime sized to pea sized! Plus the scars are lightening.

I may have missed several weeks, but for the most part I'm still doing it once a week. .5 on my face and 1.5 on my body.

I will continue to keep this up for the time being and see if I can get anywhere with the abdominal scar. That really bothers me because I do wear bikinis in the summer and while I'm on vacation. Believe it or not, I actually look better in a bikini and they fit me better. I'm small on the bottom and bigger on top, thus different top and bottom sizes fit me better.

Hope all is well on the front and I'm terribly sorry for falling off the face of the earth for a little while, but I'm BACK!
