Perhaps something that is comparable to the Wen line by Chaz Dean, it is what i am currently using but it is so expensive. It also looks like it would be very difficult to make. Any help?

I looked at the "line" there are 19 products on one website alone...

What specifically are you looking to do with your hair?

Hair care is not easy to formulate. You must use preservatives as most will require water in the formulation. Also, surfactants are needed (for sudsing) but you want to avoid SLS if you can. Coming up with "natural" ingredients that can accomplish all of the things that chemicals do in most shampoos and conditioners won't be easy.

Hair care in DIY is a challenge. Essential Wholesale has a few hair care recipes, you might take a look on their website.
